brushes for old pittman motors
Posted by rrlineman on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 7:46 AM

Where would I find replacement brushes for the old Pittman open frame motors.?? recently picked up 2 old motors from the 50s/60s that were modified for AF steamers. the brushes are shot. Also a homemade handcar that used the motor from the HO MP54's modified with longer axles for Flyer track. Thanks.

This might be a long shot, but try these folks:

http://www.henningstrains.com/

They have a pretty comprehensive repair business and sell parts as well.

You're welcome!

By the way, have you ever watched Henning's YouTube channel?  It's fun and VERY addictive!  I binge-watched it when I found out about it!  Now I get antsy when there's a delay in a new show!
