Good news but I've never heard of Princess being referred to as "the world's most iconic cruise brand". I'd put Cunard and Holland America well ahead of them, and I'm an NCL person, myself.

Cunard was famous for the Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth (I&II). The Love Boat went off the air 38 years ago, so it's not a big driver in the cruise industry anymore. Love Boat is a staple of some of the reminiscing channels such as MeTV and others. What was old becomes new again to a new audience.
My wife & I were on a Princess Cruise when they were playing up the "Love Boat" connection, to the point of having some of the cast members (in character) doing the pre-departure safety video and other system announcements...
