[/quote] Ah, but the times they have a changed.  It could be the conductor telling her husband and kids the story. Sorry, I just couldn't help myself. I know!  Traditionally it is proper to use the masculine pronoun when gender is unknown.  But proper ain't proper anymore.  You have to be politically correct!
