Mac [/quote] To say that I dislike subsidies would be an understatement.  And to say that I believe the national debt is not a problem would be a bigger understatement.  But as long as we subsidize transport in this country, then I favor government support of moderate speed passenger rail in relatively short, high density corridors where the cost of expanding the airways and highways is prohibitive.
