Economic = LaGuardia Airport Closed Down in a winter storm. Lots of people wanting to go to chicago which happens to be fogged in. HST or maglev to rescue.Social = No more jammed like sardines on a Greyhound visiting every single little burg for 20 hours. I for one will never ever again set foot on another greybarf bus in my lifetime.Environmental = All Maglev or HST elevated and away from any interaction with surface traffic, wildlife etc and probably fired by Nuke plants which really only boil water at massive rates; the fuel spent goes to yucca and/or fired into the sun itself.
