My big Amtrak trip is Aug 9 to Las Vegas, NV.

My big trip is Aug 9 on Capitol Limited leave Connellsville, Pa to Chicago then Southwest Chief  Chicago to Kingman, AZ then to Las Vegas. Anyone wants to come down in Chicago to say Hi me ,I will be in Metropolitan Lounge Ask for Brian Harris. I will be wear my Amtrak T-shirt. Stay in Las Vegas for 5 Night coming back on Aug 17 coming back to Chicago on Aug 19 on Southwest Chief then to Capitol Limited to home. My Mom & Sister is Fly to Las Vegas, Because my sister does not have that much time off of her work.

too bad your stuck on a bus from Kingmann to Vegas

If you can swing the extra time I recommend the Grand Canyon RR at Williams, just west of Flagstaff, great day trip to the rim and back, real steam engine too!
