When I want something stirring and Russian I listen to this.

"Boishe Tsarya Khrani."

(And watch the people in the audience!)

The video listed the songs.  That was nice.

It's by the Sisters Tolmachevy.  Actually isn't too bad.  I think the sudden cut in of the video made it sound too jarring.

A beautiful song (well - not with that added beat).

Probably the club mix.  "Time to get down, tovarishii!"

Thanks for the video.  I caught that Russian wartime song "Katyusha" played as background music.  Just so everyone knows, Katyusha is a soldiers girlfriend, not that terrifying multiple-barrel rocket launcher, also known as "Stalin's Organ."

You'd never know it's not, judging by some of the later pieces in the video...

Hey, The Lion's back!  Cool!  Where you been, man?

Thanks for the video.  I caught that Russian wartime song "Katyusha" played as background music.  Just so everyone knows, Katyusha is a soldiers girlfriend, not that terrifying multiple-barrel rocket launcher, also known as "Stalin's Organ."
