Please refresh my memory, but is the the line that is coming from Denton? Or something else? If its the DCTA track they will use TRE's RDC's until they get their own Statdler Cars...
This is not the same line that comes out of Denton. The Denton to Carollton line is essentially a north/south line. The Cotton Belt runs east west. The portion that is intended for commuter rail begins in or near Plano, runs south of Addison Airport, and if I remember correctly, goes through Carollton enroute to the Fort Worth area. This is the line that DART plans to use as an east/west connector to DFW.

The line passes through or near several upscale residential areas. When I last visited this issue, the residents were opposed to the line. In fact, if I remember correctly, they had filed a law suit to block the use of the line for commuter rail.
