Another chapter of RRAdventures will get started soon. My biggest challenge is deciding which chapter should be in what forum here at Trains.com. Our July trip will take us "South" and will be all about chasing historical railroad items so I'm thinking head back over to the "General Discussion (Classic Trains)" forum for the next chapter where I have another RRAdventures trip report currently running.
What do you think?

Pardon me but does the Loop have any plans to actually extened the ROW beyond the bridge and onto Goergetown its self. I mean the current ROW stops just beyond the bridge. Why cant they restore the ROW into Goergetown???
The old ROW is long since gone and the old Depot is no longer owned by the RR either.
In fact, there is more of the Argentine Central Railway grade still in exsitance coming out of Silver Plume that is now a Rail-Trail...

So basicly there is no chance the ROW will ever be restore into Goergetown where Shay #8 is on display.
Plus does the Goergetown Loop Railroad still do photo frieght speicals. I heard they once did one with C&S #9 (which I will miss operating because I like that engine)
Matt, Shay #8 has also long since left, it's in Canon City now
