Maybe only some of the parts survived? Think about it, if all of the parts were kept, someone would have known, and there would not have been so many reports of the parts being thrown away. MAYBE a few boxes of parts survived, enough to not be noticed, but all (Or at least most of them) surviving? No way. Long Live the N&W!!! Long Live Steam!!!
