<p> Yes, both stories are true. I went there today and talked to volunteers as well as the museum curator. As of today, the GM 103 has already been moved off museum grounds. The UP 6944 was supposed to go with it, but a problem with the braking system has kept it behind.</p> <p> As for 2156, yes it will be moved eventually. You must keep in mind that moving such a large locomotive is a huge undertaking. Especially when it will be moved as far as Roanoke. The curator say no date has been set for the shipping of 2156, but I doubt that it will happen this year.</p> <p> 2156 will probably be moved by fall 2015.</p> <p> Hope this clears things up.</p>
