What does the oil heater look like and where is it usually located.  I'm trying to update my GN oil fired locomotives (S1. O8 and P2.

From all the books my hubby has including several with pictures they where in the tank of the tender made up of a coil about 3 loops high attached to the locomotive with standard flexible couplings for steam applainces.

Probably better to get specific drawings and information.  Look through this finding aid or contact the library staff via information here. (I did not just list the contact information because they have a special e-mail contact form.)

On the opposite, aramid will burn completely - if you just have it hot enough, >500°C.
