Hi,
Spreading the word about NRHS RailCamp for any teenagers you may know, or are browsing this forum/thread.
NRHS RailCamp is a week-long expirience where teenagers can learn the ins and outs of railroading, from Amtrak's 130 mph North-East Corridor operations to wood car restoration, track work, steam operations, and dispatching. All hands on.
Anyone who is eligible or who you know is eligible, I highy recomend looking in to this program. Scholarships are available, and many NRHS Chapters or other organizations are more than eager to sponsor teenagers.

I had the oportunity to attend the RailCamp East 2015 program, and it is truly an unforgettable and educational expirience.
Good Luck,

I know a young man who did attend Railcamp East a few years ago. He had a wonderful time and shared plenty of pics and videos on Facebook, so the rest of us could see what it was like.
Great idea, I wish they had something like this when I was a teenager.
