All,

Follow the above link to my images from the recent “La Veta Pass Route Photo Spectacular” on the Rio Grande Scenic out of Alamosa, with a portion of the proceeds going towards the “Locomotive 463 Project.”

Run by photographers for photographers, awesome scenes and locations. Incredible service, food, and professionalism, thank you to all involved in putting on this show for us railfans.

Enjoy,
Mathew

Great shots, Matthew!

My personal favorite were #12 and #16.   The former IC cars, and the IC observation.

It is wonderful to see them running in such beautiful country still.   I suspect that I may

have ridden in the Observation car(?)  The last assigns before AMTRAK took over on the Panama (?)

Any idea their history of use on the IC?

Thanks, for sharing them here!
