One thing that changed is that the park area adjacent to the station used to be the yard on the waterfront.

FYI.
 
 
Just after the War, not yet owning a car, we used to travel to Plattsburgh via CP-NJ-D&H
 
Not much changed from this photo, then.
 
D&H had a Roundhouse to the South in which, in later years, 244 power was kept.
