Hi all. Just wanted to say hi. I am an engineer for the UP based in West Chicago. Born in Galesburg, Raised in Santa Fe, and through a long weird twist of events ended up back here. I don't begin to think I know everything about railraods in Chicago, but if any one has some questions, feel free to post em here I check in occasionally , and if I know any answers I'll post them back. Illinirail is a yahoo group owned by one of my co-workers, and is also a great source of information and opinion on railroading in illinois.
