I recently traveled in a Superliner from Seattle to Toledo on the Empire Builder / Lake Shore. A point ro conside regardless of which sleeper you may use: Try to get a room in the middle of the car away from the ends. We were placed in "A" cabin over the wheels, it can be rough and loud at times. The other issue is the car had a problem with the door between the cars. This door would stick open every so often, resulting in a lot of road noise. You can place extra baggage in the superliner in the storage area on lower deck so that your room is less cluttered. I enjoyed it a great deal versus the flying cattle cars.
