The Golden Spike Tower is just about complete and they plan to open this spring.  You might also what to check our Rail fest celebration that is planned for the fall.  Last year we had a big turnout. The person in charge of promotion for the Golden Spike was involved with Operation Lifesaver for many years.  She is a go getter and a promoter.  Keep and eye out you will most likely see informational posting when the Spike is due to open. The tower is about 90 feet in the air and should give a great view of the yard.
