My grandfather bought an American Flyer train set prior to my Mom's birth. My Mom is 20some years older than I am. When I was young, I played with the train set in my grandfather's basement -- without mercy. My grandfather found a buyer of the set when I was very young (and I pitched a fit), but he did not sell the train set. Now, I am 35 years old and do not know where to go to have repairs performed on the tranformer, the frayed electrical cords on the locomotives, etc. The locomotives, cars, and track is in my attic.
Any suggestions about restoration would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Mike
