Many thanks for solving the mystery.  We could not come up with any location in Canada, on any railroad, that came even close to matching that postcard claiming to be "along  the CPR line".

I also was sure the location was NOT on the CPR, nor in Canada.

Drove over the Blatnik Bridge back in 1971 w a CJ5 on the way West  rather
than go North by Sudbury and over the Shield.

The Gas Works near our home had similar Gas Holders and a lovely 2-6-2.

As No. 2.

As No.3. Gas Holder to rear.

Thank You.

Didn't think much of that 'railroader culture', did he?

Is he on record anywhere commenting on EHH?

Was EHH leading CN in 1986?  I don't think so.

Of course not.  The question is whether Foisy is on record commenting on EHH or his desired culture.

End of Tokens on TTC.

Too many advantages to newer systems of fare collection.

Now watch the explosion of 'collector' tokens for sale on eBay at inflated prices!  (Perhaps TTC should get in early...?)

I can make purchases using my smart watch (although I haven't set that up yet).

An app for fares can't be far behind.
