Kathi-

My condolences regarding your promotion. With it will likely come more headaches, more stress, more frustration, more hours. In addition, you will also likely be put in a higher tax bracket, resulting in your paying more taxes. Sigh.

Seriously, congrats!
I haven't recvd. my November issue of Trains at this time, but am looking forward to getting it. I do join my fellow members of the forum in saying congratulations to you on your promotion. I am sure that the publisher is pleased to have you as I am sure we in the forum and the subscription group are to meet your aquaintance. As for headaches, stress and frustration; from where I sit if you don't have those, you don't have a job. Furthermore, you deserve everything they pay you, of that I am sure. Only one piece if advise, get a good CPA, They can be very helpfull on the question of taxes and their intellegent payment, Congratulations again - Piouslion[^][bow][bow][bow][swg][tup]

The only reason the people in Wisconsin and surrounding area got their Trains early is Bergie is out going door-to-door delivering.....

Just remember, Mr Lion, good things come to those who wait. Ours usually comes on 1st of month - so I am running home mid-morning to get the mail! [:D]

No copy of Trains or MR here, yet, either. I wish Kathi had dropped by with one.

If the September issue of Railway Age is anything to go by, there was a lot of interesting equipment going to be displayed at the show in Chicago. I wish I'd have had an excuse to take Metra's BN service past their yard. Kathi, I hope a lot of pictures will be published!

(Back to the subject: the local hobby shop doesn't yet have its copies of the November issues, either.)

....Been out east for 3 - 4 days and arrived home this afternoon and figured my TRAINS will be here by now...Noooooo, it's not...Isn't that really strange some of the subscribers started receiving their copy 10 days ago....How can there be that much difference....How about it TRAINS...people.....

Alright guys and gals;lets not lay this one on Kathi. This is not her department.
Mine has not arrived yet,but it will. PATIENCE!

Kathi,CONGRATULATIONS for the upward movement. You certainly deserved it.
FYI,and I have no idea what it means. After they finished the I-65 construction,
the local news said that the L & I bridge (in the const. area) was finished. And
everybody was happy about that!?[:)]

....I wasn't laying my criticism on Kathi's door step....Just for anyone with control at TRAINS to forward a comment what the situation is with so much disparity in shipping dates...I'm certainly not implying it's under Kathi's control.
