I inherited from my father, who worked for the L&A RR, a cast bronze/brass number plate from a steam locomotive of either the L&A or KCS line. I am restoring this plate and plan to mount on the wall in my study. The plate reads "The Baldwin Locomotive Works Philadelphia USA" and the number is 392. I am looking for any information which may lead me to a picture or drawing of this type locomotive which I can display along with the number plate. Can anyone out there be of any assistance?

Thanks in advance for your help

Clark Smith
cesmith@ev1.net
