hi rail fans, i wanted to share with you a hot spot i stayed at for 2 hours and 41 minutes yesterday and saw 11 trains. it is the Lincolin street overpass in Galesburg, Illinois. there is 2 major rail lines that meet there. One goes across the overpass running along side of Lincolin street, the other goes under that overpass. it is a good spot to take pictures and view many trains. I live 56 minutes north of there so i can go there on a regular basis. this is a excellent city/spot to rail fan. please e mail me if you want to talk about this place or any thing on railroading. thanks, unionpacific856@hotmail.com
