Are there very many of these around anymore?  I saw one a few years ago here in central OH.

Thanks,

You'll have at least a couple of shots at catching the Ringling Bros Circus Train this year in the Buckeye state.  The exact routes they will take are up in the air, but here are a few:

The Red Unit train will run October 15-17 from Denver to Cleveland with performances there Oct 19 - Oct 28.  That same Red Unit train will then run back to Chicago on October 29th.

Also the Blue Unit train should make a couple of transits through Ohio on its way to other cities.  October 1-4 the train will leave Des Moines, IA on its way to Boston.  Also on November 5th, the same train is due to leave Pittsburgh for a performance in St Louis.

Hmmm, I wonder how they'll route that one?

You're forgetting the executive trains that each RR has!

It's been fun.  But it isn't much fun anymore.   Signing off for now.

The 58 car "Red" train is currently in town now (Las Vegas). Should be leaving Friday, I think, maybe early Saturday a.m.
