.....Wish I could remember to catch that.  Summertime, it's difficult to stay in and watch TV....Stays light so long now.  We ride our bikes in the neighborhood even after 9 pm.  Sunset here now isn't until about 9:14...

If you want to watch the history channel on this certain date, and certain time, DON"T go bike riding for this time period, that should work.

THANK YOU!  I marked my calendar, and will be attempting to watch it!

In my younger days I got to see a buncha engines being scrabbed by the B&O Railroad (Dad said it stood for Big And Old).  In my latter days, I saw the scrapping of the GG-1, the locomotive which would "never fade into history."  So I have seen some of the best including the K-4 and K-5, altho as of yet, I have only seen articulateds on videos, pictures and/or films.

And if it is like other History Channel viewings, it will be repeated at different times during the week.

G'day, Y'all,
In August, 1955 when the Long Island RR was still in steam, we were visiting relatives on Long Island and I saw a Life, Look or Saturday Evening Post, I don't know which, showing the acetylene torches going like gangbusters as the welders handling them cut up steam locomotives. I almost cried as a seven-year-old and probably really would cry if I saw it happen today.

Hi

The schedule shows it at 9:00 pm PDT, I don't know how that will affect other time zones, so check your local schedules. But it should make everyone HAPPIER Big Smile [:D] that my local listing description says it is about RESTORED and REUSED trains Thumbs Up [tup] Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg] Unusual for history, I didn't see it listed any where else later in the week, but no doubt it will likely be run again in the near future.

While checking the schedule though, I did also find a listing for Wild West Tech - Train Tech on the morning of Saturday the 30th at 8:00 am PDT, so again check your local listings for the correct time for your area.

Well thanks for the heads-up. I don't have cable or satellite so I never see the commercails for good shows comming up. Now I'm ahead of the game... now I just have to convince my neighbor to let me watch his TV.
