When I was working for the Air Force, I once came across a wonderful quote from a mad-scientist type who was asked about the merits of removing crews from aircraft. His response was something like, "where else can you find a microprocessor, power source, reliable servos and a gyroscope in a package that weighs only 185 pounds?"
