Nice to see.

Hopefully, Marten will emulate Hunt's success.  Marten is focused on perishables - and there is a lot of long haul perishable freight moving over the road that could (and, IMHO, should) move intermodal.

"By many measures, the U.S. freight rail system is the safest, most efficient and cost effective in the world." - Federal Railroad Administration, October, 2009. I'm just your average, everyday, uncivilized howling "anti-government" critic of mass government expenditures for "High Speed Rail" in the US. And I'm gosh darn proud of that.

living and being a driver in SE Michigan ive seen a big big jump in intermodal ............the pile of containers at CSX's Oak yard moves more then 5 yrs ago.....5 yrs ago 1 rubber tired toplift was enough....the past year theres at least 2 working 10 hours......ive seen 3 moving a few times........the biggest downfall here is the **** poor condition the roads but i dont wanna go there    SoapBox [soapbox]Sign - Off Topic!!
