Greetings Ref: Trains Jan 1995 "'Special Report' Showdown for Amtrak" The start of this article has a dispatcher with several priority freight trains to deal with, and has to factor in penalties if they do not make their respective schedules. Then here comes a Amtrak train which is running late because of flooding along its route. What are the current views as to which train has priority? Does the region make a difference say the Northeast corridor vs. Chicago. Thanks Gordon
