States data missing in Jan07 magazine
Posted by jpwoodruff on Sunday, March 4, 2007 10:36 PM

Perhaps someone from the magizine editorial staff can fill in:

Jan07 issue published some data for all 50 states.  But a shortcoming occurred

Every state's current route miles -- except Pennsylvania -- is reported.  But (if I'm not mistaken) PA's report from AAR's policy and economic dept, is omitted.

Can somebody complete my dataset?

The March issue corrected the mileage oversite, it is 5,002.

Too bad that they can't correct the voting. Illinois is #1, but California should be #2 (not #3), PA #3 (not #2) and TX #4 (not #14). NJ should be outside the top 20 (not #7), and NM (#29) should be ahead of AZ (#9).
