The scanner book published by Kalmbach fails to mention the Barstow Illinois BNSF sub between Savana and Galesburg. What is the correct scanner frequency for this sub? Also what is the correct scanner frequency for the CSX Big Sandy sub in Eastern Kentucky? I tried the frequency printed and do not get anything on my scanner. I should, because I recieve everything else.

I have found books and such to be rather incomplete.Although it requires much time, when I scan an unfamiliar area, I scan all 95 AAR channels
(or however many there are) and make notations as to what channels have activity. My scanner scans 50 channels a second, which is rather helpful, but you still must be patient and diligent.
