Joe-

I still get the same 1 1/2 hour call and it's almost always dark when I go to work, so it really makes no difference to me...[yawn]

Time change - oh boy

Now we get to go to work when it's dark, work where it's dark and return home when it's dark. But look on the bright side - the grass has quit growing and I don't have to mow - now if I can remember where I stored the snow shovel.

work safe

You can have all of my snow tooooooooooo, unless you want to share some of it with Mitchell. But he would probally like to share some with you. [:D]

I like Kevs idea about the clocks, just as long as they are not made in china (doesn't deserve a capital c).

I wonder if the railroads use these radio controled clocks? We all know the railroads would love to have radio controlled people.

NOw you could all be like me (lazy ***) , and go to Radio shack and update all your clocks around the house to Radio Controlled clocks, therfore you never have to change anything!

they update themselves. usually at 12 AM, 2AM and 6AM and the clock coincide exactly to the train scheduales (for up here)

Ahh you fail again young Jedi...............

By having all of you clocks adjust themselves automatically, you remove the opportunity to blame the time change for tardiness or just downright forgetting things like work, or class or anniversaries. It's all about plausable deniability (a concept developed by the CIA in the 60s and continued to be refined by many politicians when 60 Minutes greets them at thier doorstep).

You should never give up options for good excuses. [:)]

Hey, tree! You and my daddy have a bit in common. He's also 6'5" and was a volunteer firefighter in our hometown (Germantown, Wis.) for 20 years. He retired from the department some years ago, but served as EMT, fire inspector and rescue director for many of those years. I, happily, quit growing when I hit 5'11", but my 17-year-old daughter has recently stopped at 6'1". (An evil laugh ensues![:p]) My 13-year-old is still in the middle of her last big growth spurt and I'm interested to see where she'll end up.

I've always been very proud of the work my father did with the fire department. Firefighters rock, and so do you. Keep your eyes open, your head down, and your mask clear.

Take care!
