You listen to horns blow in the distance and know which crossing they are blowing for. Your wife sadly introduces you as a "Foamer". <br />You correct anyone who says it's an engine, instead of a locomotive or a unit. <br />You wonder who could possibly put a Santa Fe caboose on the same trainset as a New Haven ALCO... and wince when someone says "It looks prettier that way." <br />You have a shirt with every patch from every train museum you have been to... which you only wear when you are visiting a new train museum. <br />You plan the family vacation around railroad museums, and tolerate the art museum someone else wants to see. <br />You know a "reefer" is something you load with food, rather than get loaded with food if you have a "reefer", <br />You count the cars on a train going by. <br />You get excited by a MOW train, so much so that you forget to MOW the lawn. <br /> <br />Erik <br />
