Here's a video of a truck being hit by a train.

It looks like that train pushed the truck into the car(s) ahead of it on that street.  ...  Too bad the shot was too tight initially, and the clip didn't go on beyond the impact....   I suppose that trucker was surprised when he got hit...

Every time I drive to work I cross the tracks there.  The highway was improved there in the past couple of years, and there are signs and flashing lights warning drivers not to stop on the tracks, as well as striping in the danger zone.  This footage was taken before these improvements were made, but after CN took over (note the signals turned sideways--these are part of new signals installed by CN along this line, the former Chicago Central & Pacific).

Looks like the camera and the person holding the camera was standing fairly close to the tracks.  If I had been that person, it would have been forget the shot, forget the camera, feet don't fail me now!
