Capital One Credit Card TV Commercial involving trains

Just viewed a Capital One Credit Card Commercial where a family boards a freight and meets up with a couple of hobo's because there air miles are blacked out. The long shots of the train do not look North American. There was another commercial a few years back involving a train and that also looked foreign. Does anyone have any idea where they shot those exterior shots of the railroads? I'm guessing Australia from what I've seen.

Well, the rolling stock is definately not from North America, I had
assumed
Europe somewhere. Last time I was in Australia, I was more interested in drinking beer than watching trains. Perhaps some of our participants from "across the pond" can discuss how much the box cars resemble things in those areas...
...I may have a one track mind, but at least it's not Narrow (gauge)
