Be there! What else can I say?!
A bad day engaging in trainwatching (or in mobile law enforcement radio communication eavesdropping) is better than a good day at work! <;)

I can't help but think that I'm missing something here. What might that be?

I ahve been trying to establish some "good" times for Rochelle:

Try 6 - 7:30 AM CDT (5 trains today)

or 10 - 11 AM CDT (another 5)

Other times seem to be random groups (so far....).

Anyone else have some good data to base heavy traffic times on ??????????????

When I saw & replied to this post I was under the impression that something historical, cool, or at the very least unusual was going to be seen on the web-cam during that particular 24hr period.
Of course I forgot to watch, but thought that if something indeed did happen then someone would post about it.
So was that time frame really something or was I just reading into it too much??

I was out there for a couple of hours on the 22nd of May and saw sixteen trains between 11:30am and 1:30 pm. Heard that part of this was due to a signal malfunction and they were trying to clear out the backlog. It was awesome! Seems like there was almost always one train waiting to get the crossing.

Yes, two.
One hour between Pacific and Mountain time, one more between Mountain and Central time.
