BN & CR??

Has anyone noticed that the last paint schemes for Burlington Northern and Conrail were very similar. On the cabs and noses, they both had the same white bib and design. Is this just a coinsidence, or is there a story here? Just some food for thought. I personally liked Big Blue's overall look more, but BN definitely pulled out a new look.

Possibly due to the fact that EMD and GE have staff in house to help design new paint schemes, and since the last units ordered by BN were EMD SD70MAC's, likely EMD had a hand in the scheme as with the last EMD units ordered by CR, which I believe were the SD80MAC units.

I'm not surprised that's what happened.
