Caught an empty coal train from Superior, WI with a brand new ACe on the point. Thought I'd share for any that are interested!

Cool picture!!!! I work about three miles south of the Coon Creek junction and it is amazing how many of these are showing up regularly on that trip to Superior. I chased one home a few weeks ago, I snapped a quick "hail mary" and the result of 9373 at the tail end wasn't pretty! I only wish I could have ran faster up that hill !!!!

No offence to all you lovers of BNSF and SD70ACe but personally I think that they are ugly. I'm thinking that it is the orange or something. Now the MRL and UP SD70ACe's are smooth. Those I like. BNSF should stick with the GEVOs. But then again, I haven't seen one in person.

the real beauty of a machine isnt the looks but the performance, and the sd70s are excellent runners. sure hope those beauties are going thru rochelle next week during the cnw convention. that would be icin on the cake!!!

I'll give you that, they sure are odd looking. One side note, the whistle on these things is fantastic. I is quite distinct and easy to pick out one you've heard it a couple times. I was very happy to find one.
