QUOTE: Originally posted by canazar Personally, I do not think that was a railroad "cop". Atleast not in the true sense. DEKEMD mentioned a really good point and I was thinking the samething too (I have personal expeirnce with law enforcement too).. He never showed ID, nor did he give any reason why you should think he was a cop. Ya know, car markings, a unifrom, little things like that. If your in plain clothes, you have to show ID and prove you are an "Officer of the law", otherwise, you leave your self wide open to gettin a lawsuit. "Your honor, at no time did he prove he a was a police officer. He was some guy demanding my wallet....." Personally, I think it was some railroad employee, maybe a yard master on a slow day or some paper pusher checking the tracks and flet like being pissy. True, both sides could have handled it alot better. The "offiicer" more so I think. Also, some people posted that they thought the railfans were being, well maybe rude, or definalty a bit of a pain. I can see that in the video. but I also heard there tones in the beginning and they seemed ok. But I have to admit, if some "guy" just pulled up and started giving me greif, I would have issues too. "Dont look like a cop to me, go away." I admit, if I was in that excat setting, I wouldnt have given the guy my wallet unitl he showed me his....
QUOTE: Originally posted by BNSFrailfan OK ALOT OF YOU ARE CORRECT. IT IS TRESSPASSING. BUT AS A MATTER OF FACT,EVERYONE TRESSPASSES AND NOT JUST RAILFANS. IT SEEMS THE RAILROAD ONLY GOES AFTER RAILFANS AND NOT JUST OTHER TRESSPASSERS. AND ALSO,ONE MORE THING......IM NOT SHOUTING. I LIKE TO USE UPPER CASE LETTERS. THE LOWER CASE ARE SOMETIMES HARD TO READ BECAUSE OF MY EYES. SO IM SORRY TO OTHERS ON THE FORUM. ALLAN.
