What would the founding fathers think about this.

I think maybe the founders would have gone for government funding, considering it as a public transportation idea, but certainly not government control; even the freeways and roads are kept up by the state. As Thomas Jefferson said. <br />If we were directed from Washington when to sow and reap, we should soon want bread." <br /> <br />Dave, <br /> <br />I was talking to a friend of mine about your idea of using the freeway medians as a ROW. He thought this was a splendid idea, if it had been done when the freeways were being built. So you aren’t crazy (well maybe).[swg]
