Hey Everyone,

Does anyone know what kinda training Norfolk Southern put you through when you attend their training center in Georgia? This would be for new Conductors. Just curious, I know the 1st phase is 8 days there, then 2 weeks at your home terminal, then another 10 days back in Georgia, then you finish your training at your home terminal. I just want to know what kind of training they put you through say 1st phase then what they put you through when you return for pahse 3. If anyone knows or can shed some light on the subject I would be grateful. Thanks Shawn
Cool site to visit http://www.trainweb.org/peninsularailfan/index.html - local site, very cool http://crcyc.railfan.net/ - Conrail site, also cool http://www.thedieselshop.us/MPR.html

So, will you support my building a dog track in Delaware?

It's track!

And I'll give 4% of every dollar bet to the state government. That'll get 'em off your back for a while. Come on guy, let's lay some track in Delaware!

Call your legislator!
"By many measures, the U.S. freight rail system is the safest, most efficient and cost effective in the world." - Federal Railroad Administration, October, 2009. I'm just your average, everyday, uncivilized howling "anti-government" critic of mass government expenditures for "High Speed Rail" in the US. And I'm gosh darn proud of that.
