Does anyone know something about this subdivision that you could tell me about?

I think this is the one that runs from Spokane to Kettle Falls, Idaho. From there it runs to Grand Forks, B.C. where it serves the Pope Talbot mill. Another line used to run to Salmo, B.C. but abandoned the line in 2001. Some years ago it used to Nelson but it's been some time since Burlington Northern ran frieghts there.

The Kootenai River subdivision of the BNSF is the line from West Whitfish, MT to Sunset Jct just west of Spokane, WA. This includes the former GN mainline from Whitefi***o Boyer/Sandpoint, ID and the NP mainline from Sandpoint to Sunset Jct. The NP trackage is the line known as "the funnel" since it funnels the GN and NP mainlines onto a single, though mostly double track, mainline routing.

I hope this helps. This is one of the reasons I tend to stay away from the Trains forums, too many people posting just to post without taking the time to find the answer to post but just posting something from the seat of their pants. I guess I can go back to avoiding this place for a few more weeks now.
