During the day there can be lulls in action. Around 8 pm on weekdays it seems it's one train after the other. During the day the CP intermodal comes and then the locals return. The locals go out in the morning and you can see them coming back around 5 pm. They have been doing trackwork so that might delay some trains. Most of the action is east and west bound. The tracks are owned by CSX but a number of CP trains use it. One piece of advice, if any signal around the diamond is anything but red stay around. They do not like to leave clear signals up for lond peroids of time do to the number of yard movements. Check out the industrial parks around there as they offer good shots of the yards and trains and it is legal to do so.
