Try thr trains book section on this web-site.They also have the big railroads family tree too.

Frank WIlner has a great book on RR mergers, from SImmons-Boardman.

Frank Wilner has a fairly recent book. Search Simmns-Boardman publishing. I believe there are also some older ones out there.
