Gas and diesel would never have gone above $2 a gallon in the first place if we had been allowed to develop our own hydrocarbon resources and if we had been allowed to construct new refineries without all the costly regulations, most of which were brought to us by the same people who are pushing "renewables" such as biodiesel and ethanol.
