Sorry, but i have to say you were probably in the wrong and probably deserved and wee lucky not to get a ticket. If you were caught trespassing once, of course someone will keep an eye on you. I bet this wasnt the first time you trespassed, so it wouldnt be the last, and the employee had a right to "stalk" you as you brought it upon yourself.
