The really nice thing is that at www.bluegrasscountry.org you can listen to free 24-hour bluegrass and country, 7 days a week. It DOES help to have a broadband connection if you want to use the phone. (The teenagers take care of the latter, of course.) At least once a week I've picked up an entire hour of "train songs" from really old stuff like the Lehman Brothers to fairly new such as the Seldom Scene. <br /> <br />Even better was living in Fort Worth, where on any given weekend you had your choice of maybe 20 or 30 (I kid you not on the numbers) country or bluegrass bands, ranging from the biggest names to fabulously good up-and-comers that most people have never heard of.
