If it wasn't painted Cotton Belt, someone's pulling your leg. There's only one SP-family F-unit ever painted that way, SSW 330/306, an FP7. When it went to SP in the 60's it was already in the bloody nose paint scheme and was renumbered 6462. Thjis unit also eventually got the bloody nose paint job.
