Who is David Voss, and why does he have 5 golden stars?

It would appear he is employed by Kalmbach as a web developer. I guess that means he could have 20 gold stars if he wanted.

Bergie also has 5 golden stars. I suppose it is an employee thing.

Iwas kind of picturing one of those *star-belly* thingies from a Dr. Suess book.[;)]

Sneetches? I had enough grief over yellow thingies. I think just one blue ear and one green ear would be just right..... ^~^

Perhaps they're Kalmbach's equivalent of the "Oscars". Who will Mookie thank in her acceptance speech ?????

It's top secret... but I will tell you and ONLY you. (so don't repeat it)
You get 5 gold stars once you are fully assimilated to the borg. It's pretty much a lifetime achievement and incredibly hard to shed. It becomes part of you.
A post-borg shedder told me this on his death-bed.

Don't you know? The stars are symbols for the pay rates for your posts. Each additional star doubles your rate.
