What's a cryogenic refer haul? (aka cryo-trans) I saw one on a train and a picture of one on the internet.

Most of the time they are hauling frozen food that is flash frozen. McCain and other firms have their names on some of the cars. That's how your frozen Bird's Eye gets to market. The mechanical reefers are used to haul fresh produce and other food stuffs. But in a pinch any type of the reefers will be used.
