Bandits (PICTURE)
Posted by bnsfkline on Saturday, November 12, 2005 11:13 AM
My Friend, Mike was in Chicago a few months ago, in September....he got to do some railfanning in the CP rail yard in Bensonville. there, he found his greatest find, an Ex-MILW MP15. No, this was no ordinary Bandit. The black patch that had covered the Milwuakee road lettering had completly faded out. Since the black patch had faded, you could clearly read "Milwuakee Road" were the patch was. He gave me a print of it, and I will scan it, and send it to anybody who is intrested in seeing it. For all of you who want the road number, it is SOO 1548.

All in all, he saw a total of THREE Bandits.

SOO 2016 GP38-2
SOO 1551 MP15
SOO 1548 MP15

Here is the photo of 1548

Looks like it lost alot more than paint. that thing needs to be taken to the pasture and shot dead. Poor things barely alive.
